Saying goodbye :-(

Well, this weekend started the goodbyes for everyone leaving Korea. On Friday I met Jaclyn in Osan and went over to Liz's in Shingal to move some of Liz's stuff to my apartment. She leaves on Tuesday and wasn't taking everything home, so I took some of her stuff like a ton of her books, her coat rack, and her Christmas tree. We had dinner in Shingal at the really good sushi restaurant (the same one where we had Christmas Day lunch). I got home at about 9:30 Friday night and was exhausted, so I went to bed early!

Saturday everyone went into Seoul for dinner and then drinks. We were early, so we decided to stop at Yeouido Island on the way for some drinks and sat on the banks of the Han River. Then, we had dinner at the brazilian barbecue, which is all you can eat meat! They serve the meat on skewers right at your table. It was pretty awesome. Dinner was Andy, Jaclyn, Lindsay, Laura, Liz, Luke, Helen, Nick, Alicia, BT, Jason and I, so it was a pretty big turnout. After dinner we decided to head over to Sinchon for some drinks. We went to our favorite bar called "Mellow Music" and had an evening of beer and lemon soju. More people even joined our party, added were Kat and Peter, Cory and Carrie, Amy and her friend Rebekah, and Meghan and Beth. It was an awesome group and good times were had by all. Almost everyone stayed in the Prince Hotel in Sinchon.

Then Sunday came. We ate lunch at T.G.I. Friday's and then it was time to start saying goodbyes. I said goodbye to Jason, Alicia, Nick, Cory, Carrie, and Liz. It was very hard to see everyone go, things will be weird for a while. Meghan and I went over to Liz's house for one last Kamjatang dinner (potato soup). I will miss everyone dearly.

Now it's time for me to plan something to teach tomorrow!
